A . Yes definitely! You need to mention the card holder details for the card payment but you can enter anyone's name for the car booking.

Q . Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on your site? Do you store my card number and details?

A . It is completely safe to use our site. We have partnered with ( ?) for the payment gateway. (?) provides a 128-bit SSL encryption technology compliant solution which is certified by VeriSign. We don't store any card details.

Q . I recharged my Maruthi Cabs Money. The amount got debited from my card/bank, but I haven't received Maruthi Cabs Money in my account yet. What do I do?

A . Contact customer support with your transaction ID, email and phone number handy. Customer support will initiate a refund. Mode of refund will be same through which the original payment was received and may require up to 45 days to reflect back in your account.

Q . Do I need to register on your site to book A Car ?

A . No. You can use our service fully without the need to register. You just need to provide your details at the time of booking.

Q . What if the car doesn't show up?

A . In case the vehicle you booked doesn't show up, we will offer you a full refund immediately.

Q . What if the car shows up late?

A .We try our best to ensure our partners reach our customers on time. But in case of delays, do call us and we will help you out by either providing an alternate vehicle or giving you a full refund.

Before knowing about MARUTHI CABS ’s peak time charge, it is important for you to know how MARUTHI CABS works.

MARUTHI CABS is an online Car Rentals for valid permit holder drivers (duly authorized & verified by the Transport Authorities).

These drivers are independent and they are either self-employed (own their commercial vehicles), or work for an Operator who owns multiple cars.

Like you have an MARUTHI CABS app on your smart phone to book a cab, these drivers have a similar Driver mobile App on their smart phones. We activate the Driver app after a thorough check of authenticity and conducting due diligence of the commercial & personal papers of the driver & operator. These drivers decide their own time to login to the MARUTHI CABS application and accept requests for rides from customers. They may choose to remain logged out of the system as per their convenience.

Q .What is MARUTHI CABS ’s peak time charge?

A .MARUTHI CABS peak time charge is a fare-rationalizing rule of using a multiplier X or a flat surcharge to the standard fares causing the fare to be higher than the standard fare during certain times the day; i.e. if X is 1.2 during some point of time then the standard fare will be multiplied by 1.2 to get the final fare.

Q .Why is there a need to apply a surcharge to my standard fare?

A .MARUTHI CABS being a Online business Supporter doesn’t control the number of vehicles online on its system/platform; verified drivers & operators are independent & work as per their convenience. During a normal day when demand & supply are met, there is no need to put an extra effort to pull the supply side of vehicles.

MARUTHI CABS has observed that during certain times of the day, when more traffic is on road, routine drivers tend to log out of the system to suit their convenience as there is no incentive for them to put an extra effort. Similarly, when demand suddenly increases, not enough drivers might be available on the road. Customers might be inconvenienced by not being able to find cabs during such times.

As a Online Service provider MARUTHI CABS has limited options to motivate the drivers and cater to the high demand timings & scenarios. MARUTHI CABS has observed that the drivers are very sensitive to little extra earnings for their extra effort to stay logged in to our system. MARUTHI CABS applies an X multiplier or flat surcharge to the normal fare based on various situations and scenarios like place of pickup, time of pickup, type of vehicle, demand situation, supply scenario etc. Using advanced analytics, unique algorithm, past ride experiences etc.

MARUTHI CABS software calculates an appropriate surcharge to apply over and above the normal fare. This enables MARUTHI CABS to come up with appropriate incentives to drivers to make them stay logged in to the system for the additional earnings. This enables customers to get their much needed service even during peak times when demand for cabs is high. The peak time surcharge works in two ways

MARUTHI CABS is transparent about the rates. MARUTHI CABS makes sure that customers are aware of the dynamics of peak time charge and how it works. Whenever peak time charge is applicable; customers get a clear intimation, to confirm their intent to avail the ride at a higher price than normal. The booking process is initiated only when they confirm; hence, if a customer wants to avoid that ride he/she may choose to do it, thus making the cab available to others who are in need.

  • "Agreement" is a reference to these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, any order form and payment instructions provided to you.
  • “You”, “your”, “Consumer” and “yours” are references to you, the person accessing this Mobile Application and ordering any Goods or Services from the Mobile Application or from any other channel provided by Maruthi Cabs
  1. By placing an order through the Mobile Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You agree to take adequate care while placing the order and when providing us with your details and warrant that these details are complete and accurate so as to enable MARUTHI CABSto undertake delivery of the Goods. You also warrant that the credit or debit card details that you provide are for your own credit, debit card or MARUTHI CABS money and that you have sufficient funds to make the payment for the Goods ordered.
  2. Any order for the Goods placed through Mobile Application are intended for your end consumption only and you warrant that any Goods ordered by you are not for resale and that you are acting as principal only and not as an agent for another party while ordering and receiving the Goods/ Services.
  3. lease note that some of the Goods may be suitable for certain age ranges only. You should check that the Goods you are ordering is suitable for the consumption of intended recipient. MARUTHI CAB Stakes no responsibility with respect to the Goods ordered, its quality or quantity and the Participating Restaurants shall be solely responsible for matters connected to the Goods displayed or delivered by Maruthi Cabs
  4. When ordering from this Mobile Application you may be required to provide an e-mail address and password. You must ensure that you keep the combination of these details secure and do not provide this information to a third party. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. MARUTHI CABScannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the requirements of this provision.
  5. Any order that you place with us is subject to the availability of the Goods, delivery capacity and acceptance by us and the Participating Restaurant. Please note that pursuant to placing of an order using the Mobile Application, we will acknowledge via an auto-generated SMS ( “Acknowledgment Message” ) the fact of receipt of an order. In case of any discrepancy or inconsistency between order placed and Acknowledgement Message received, you must inform us immediately. The fact that you receive an Acknowledgment Message does not necessarily mean that we will be able to fulfill your order. The Acknowledgment Message is only a confirmation of the receipt of your order and is not a confirmation that the order will be undertaken by the Participating Restaurant or will be delivered by the Company.
  6. If the quantity of the Goods ordered is available in the requisite quantity and the delivery thereof is accepted by us, we will accept the order and the same will be confirmed to you via a text message/ SMS ( “Confirmation Message” ).
  7. The Confirmation Message will specify delivery details including the approximate delivery time and price of the Goods ordered as charged by the Participating Restaurant along with the delivery charges (subject to any applicable discounts, promotions etc.) that is payable to MARUTHI CABS.
  8. If the Goods ordered is not available in the requisite quantity or if there is absence of delivery capacity, we will also let you know by text message (SMS) or a phone call ( “Non-acceptance Message” ). MARUTHI CABSshall incur no liability for any loss or damage caused or suffered, whether directly or indirectly for the Non-acceptance Message.
  1. Any delivery of Goods pursuant to an order placed using the Mobile Application is a contract between you and MARUTHI CABS. You agree to take adequate care when providing us with your details and warrant that these details are accurate and complete at the time of ordering. You also warrant that the credit or debit card details that you provide are for your own credit or debit card and that you have sufficient funds to make the payment for the Goods ordered.
  2. All prices listed on the Mobile Application are applicable at the time of listing or displaying the particular Goods. We reserve the right to alter the prices or stop listing or remove listing/ displaying any Goods from any Participating Restaurant or eateries or cafes etc.
  3. The total price for the delivery of the Goods ordered, including delivery charges and other charges, will be displayed on the Mobile Application at the time you place the order. Full payment must be made for all Goods dispatched and Services provided to you. Payment can be made in cash on delivery (COD) or through the Mobile Application, by online payment, e.g. via debit card, credit card or Maruthi Cabs money.
  4. If you choose online payment, you must pay for your order before it is delivered. To ensure that shopping online is secure, your debit/credit card details will be encrypted to prevent the possibility of someone being able to read them. Your credit card company may also conduct security checks to confirm if the order placed is genuine and if the same has been placed by you.
  1. Estimated Delivery Time (EDT) mentioned at the time of ordering is only indicative and approximate and may vary. Goods will be delivered to the address designated by you at the time of ordering.
  2. We will take due care and reasonable efforts to deliver the Goods in a timely manner. However, we do not take any responsibility for late delivery or loss caused to you for non-delivery or delay in delivery. In case you have not received any Non-acceptance Message from us within the Estimated Delivery Time, you may contact us at 080-4405 0055.
  3. Upon the delivery of the Goods, all risk and rewards passes to you.
  4. If you fail to accept delivery of Goods at the time they are ready for delivery, or we are unable to deliver at the nominated time due to failure on your part to provide appropriate instructions, or authorizations, then such Goods shall be deemed to have been delivered to you and all risks and rewards in relation to such Goods shall pass to you.
  5. You must ensure that at the time of delivery of Goods, adequate arrangements, including access where necessary, are in place for the safe delivery of the Goods ordered. We cannot be held liable for any damage, cost or expense incurred to such Goods or premises where this arises as a result of a failure on your part to provide adequate access/ address or any other instructions or arrangements for delivery.
  6. Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case, we will inform you using the contact details that you have provided to us. You can cancel the order or provide alternate delivery address.
  7. MARUTHI CABS’s responsibility shall be deemed fulfilled by delivery of the Goods ordered to the address communicated at the time of placing the order. MARUTHI CABSundertakes no further obligations such as to ensure that the Goods delivered to you are in conformity with the order placed and it shall be the sole responsibility of the Participating Restaurant to ensure the same
  • You must notify us immediately if you decide to cancel your order, preferably by phone, and quote your order number or cancel the order on the Mobile Application. If we accept your cancellation, no cancellation fee applies. If the Goods have been prepared or processed for delivery or have already been dispatched, it may not be cancelled. We will not be able to refund for any order, which has been already dispatched.
  • We will cancel the order if the Goods ordered are not available for any reason. We will notify you for such cancellation by way of a Non-acceptance Message and return any payment that you have made in this regard on the Mobile Application.
  • If the cancellation was made in time and in accordance with this Clause 5, we will refund the full amount within 14 (fourteen) days.
  • In the unlikely event that you have been delivered with wrong items other than the Goods ordered, you have the right to reject the delivery of the wrong item and you shall be fully refunded for the ordered item.
  • Where we have requested any information from you in order to deliver the Goods ordered, you agree to facilitate such delivery and provide us with accurate and complete information.
  • You authorize us to use, store or otherwise process your personal information in order to provide deliver the Goods to you and for the purposes of marketing or publicizing information with respect to notifying any offers or discounts

  1. Adequate care has been taken to ensure that the information available on this Mobile Application is correct and error free. However, we cannot warrant that use of the Mobile Application will be error free or is fit for the purpose, or is timely, or that the defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Mobile Application and we do not make any warranty whatsoever, whether express or implied, relating to fitness for purpose, or accuracy.
  2. By accepting these terms of use you agree to relieve us from any liability whatsoever arising from your use of any information provided on the Mobile Application or made available from any third party, or your consumption of any Goods from a Participating Restaurant
  3. We disclaim any and all liability to you for the delivery of the Goods ordered to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law. This does not affect your rights as a consumer. If we are found liable for any loss or damage to you such liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the relevant Goods or Services. We cannot accept any liability for any loss, damage or expense, including any direct or indirect loss such as loss of profits to you, howsoever arising. This limitation of liability does not apply to personal injury or death arising as a direct result of our negligence
  4. We do not accept any liability for any delays, failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, viruses or other contamination or destructive properties transmitted to you or your mobile phone via our Mobile Application.
  5. We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing Services or delivering Goods where such failure arises as a result of any act or omission, which is outside our reasonable control such as unprecedented circumstances, overwhelming and unpreventable events caused directly and exclusively by forces of nature that can be neither anticipated, nor controlled, nor prevented by the exercise of prudence, diligence, and care, including but not limited to: war, riot, civil commotion; compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction and acts of third parties ( “Force Majeure” ).
  6. If we have contracted to provide identical or similar orders to more than one Consumer and are prevented from fully meeting our obligations to you by reason of an event of Force Majeure, we may decide at our absolute discretion which orders we will fulfill by providing delivery and to what extent.
  7. The Goods delivered by us are provided for private domestic and end consumer use only. Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income, loss of profit, damage to property and/or loss from claims of any third parties arising out of the use of the Mobile Application or for any Goods or Services.
  8. We have taken all reasonable steps to prevent internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers or those of third parties.
  9. In the event MARUTHI CABShas a reasonable belief that there exists an abuse of vouchers and/or discount codes or suspects an instance of fraud, MARUTHI CABSmay cause the Consumer to be blocked immediately and reserves the right to refuse future service. Additionally, should there exist an abuse of vouchers or discount codes, MARUTHI CABSreserves the right to seek compensation from any and all such Consumers.
  10. Offers are subject to MARUTHI CABS's discretion and may be withdrawn at any time and without notice.

  2. We may subcontract any part or parts of the Services or Goods that we provide to you from time to time and we may assign or novate any part or parts of our rights under these Terms and Conditions without your consent or any requirement to notify you.
  3. We may alter or vary the Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you.
  4. Payment must be made either at the time of ordering the Goods by credit card/debit card/ mobile wallet on MARUTHI CABS’s Mobile Application/at the time of delivery by cash. Failure to pay on time will result in the cancellation of your order.
  5. Do not use or launch any automated system or program in connection with our Mobile Application or its online ordering functionality
  6. Do not collect or harvest any personally identifiable information from the Mobile Application, use communication systems provided by the Mobile Application for any commercial solicitation purposes, solicit for any reason whatsoever any users of the Mobile Application with respect to their submissions to the Mobile Application, or publish or distribute any vouchers or codes in connection with the Mobile Application, or scrape or hack the Mobile Application.
  7. The Terms and Conditions together with the Privacy Policy, any order form and payment instructions constitute the entire agreement between you and us. No other terms whether expressed or implied shall form part of this Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other term or provision on the Mobile Application, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
  8. If any term or condition of our Agreement shall be deemed invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the parties hereby agree that such term or condition shall be deemed to be deleted and the remainder of the Agreement shall continue in force without such term or condition.
  9. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
  10. No delay or failure on our part to enforce our rights or remedies under the Agreement shall constitute a waiver on our part of such rights or remedies unless such waiver is confirmed in writing.
  11. All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language

    12. By accepting these terms of use, you agree to relieve us from any liability whatsoever arises from the use of information from any their party or consumption of any food or beverages from a participating restaurant.

User(s) means any individual or business entity/orgMaruthi Cabszation that legally operates in India or in other countries, uses and has the right to use the Services provided by MARUTHI CABS CABS. The Services provided by MARUTHI CABS CABS is a technology based service which enables the hiring of taxis by commuters / passengers for a point to point service, or for time and usage based service within city limits and outside city limits, including inter-city all over India, through the internet and / or mobile telecommunications devices. Our Services are available only to those individuals or compMaruthi Cabses who can form legally binding contracts under the applicable law. Therefore, user(s) must not be a minor as per Indian Law; i. e. user(s) must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible to use our Services.

MARUTHI CABS CABS advises its users that while accessing the web site, they must follow/abide by the related laws. MARUTHI CABS CABS is not responsible for the possible consequences caused by your behaviour during use of web site. Maruthi Cabs cabs reserves the right to collect user data including name, contact information and other details to facilitate services or use of its platform to avail services. All information collected from the user are on a bonafide basis. Misuse and misrepresentation of identity or contact details will lead to automated termination of services or the use of the platform without prior notice to such users.

User accounts bearing contact number and email IDs are created and owned by Maruthi Cabs cabs. Any promotional discounts, offers and reward points in the form of Maruthi Cabs Money accumulated can be revoked without prior notice in the event of suspicious account activity or malafide intent of the user.

In the case where the system is unable to establish unique identity of the user against a valid mobile number or e-mail ID, the account shall be indefinitely suspended. Maruthi Cabs cabs reserves the full discretion to suspend a user's account in the above event and does not have the liability to share any account information whatsoever.

The following Terms & Conditions shall apply to customers / passengers utilising the Services offered by the Company for the hiring of taxis:

  1. The customer shall pay the taxi fare (as displayed in the meter), parking charges, additional night surcharge (where applicable) and any fee or levy presently payable or hereinafter imposed by the law or required to be paid for availing of the taxi Services.
  2. The customer agrees and accepts that the use of the Services provided by the Company is at the sole risk of the Customer, and further acknowledges that the Company disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The customer shall ensure that he/she will not indulge in any of the following activities while in a taxi
    • Smoking or consuming any kind of intoxicants inside the Taxi. The driver has the right to refuse the pick-up or ask the customer to alight the cab if the customer is found to be in an intoxicated state or is found misbehaving with other passengers or the driver, or is causing a nuisance.
    • Littering the Taxi
    • Soiling or damaging the seats and/or any other interiors of the Taxi.
    • Misusing, soiling or damaging any of the devices (technical/non-technical) in the taxi.
    • Asking the driver to break any Traffic/RTO/City Police and/or government rules for any purpose (especially reaching the destination earlier). The driver has the right to refuse such a request by the customer. The driver also has the right to refuse such a pick-up or ask such customer(s) to alight from the cab.
    • Asking the driver to board more than 4 adults in the taxi. The rules under which the taxi Services are provided by the Company, stipulate that a maximum of 4 adult passengers shall be allowed per trip. In view of this, the customer shall not pressurize the driver to allow more than 4 adult passengers in the taxi. The driver has the right to refuse such a pick-up or ask such customer(s) to alight from the cab.
    • Pressurizing the driver to overload the boot space of the taxi with luggage. The customer shall not be generally allowed to use the seating area of the taxi for placing any kind of luggage.
  3. The customer agrees and acknowledges that the use of the Services offered by Company is at the sole risk of the customer and that Company disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied as to condition, suitability, quality, merchantability and fitness for any purposes are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    Without prejudice to the above, the Company makes no representation or warranty that

    • the Services will meet the customer's requirements;

    • The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage, howsoever caused or suffered by the Customer arising out of the use of taxi service offered by Company or due to the failure of Company to provide Services to the Customer for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to the Customer's non-compliance with the Services' recorded voice instructions, malfunction, partial or total failure of any network terminal, data processing system, computer tele-transmission or telecommunications system or other circumstances whether or not beyond the control of Company or any person or any orgMaruthi Cabszation involved in the above mentioned systems.
    • The Company will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service offered by the Company, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
    • There shall be extra charges for far off locations & toll charges as well.
    • If any passenger if misses the train or flight or bus, Company will not be liable for any compensation. The customer shall make an alternate arrangement if the cab has not reached due to any reason.
  4. The Customer shall indemnify Company from and against and in respect of any or all liabilities, losses, charges and expenses (including legal fees and costs on a full indemnity basis) claims, demands, actions and proceedings which Company may incur or sustain directly or indirectly from or by any reason of or in relation to the use or proposed use of the Services by the Customer and shall pay such sums on demand on the Company
  5. • The Company is hereby authorized to use the location based information provided by any of the telecommunication compMaruthi Cabses when the Customer uses the mobile phone to make a taxi booking. The location based information will be used only to facilitate and improve the probability of locating a taxi for the Customer.
  6. • The Company shall be entitled to disclose to all compMaruthi Cabses within its group, or any government body as so required by the law or by directive or request from any government body, the particulars of the Customer in the possession of Company in any way as Company, in its absolute discretion, deems fit or if it considers it in its interests to do so.
  7. The Company shall be entitled at any time without giving any reason to terminate the booking of taxis done by the Customer.
  8. The Company encourages all its customers to take full responsibility of his/her items. In case of lost items inside the Company during the journey, Company will try to locate the items on a "best-effort" basis but is not responsible for the same in case of loss or damage to the same.
  9. If the Customer leaves any goods in the taxi or has any complaint in respect of the Services or the use of the taxi, the Customer has to inform Company of the same in writing within 24hours of using the taxi or the Services of Company.
  10. The Company shall not be liable for any conduct of the drivers of the taxis. However, the Company encourgaes you to notify it of any complaints that you may have against the driver of any taxi that you may have hired using the Company's Services.
  11. The Company shall be entitled to add to, vary or amend any or all these terms and conditions at any time and the Customer shall be bound by such addition, variation or amendment once such addition, variation or amendment are incorporated into these terms and conditions at Company's website at www.Maruthi Cabs cabs.in.com on the date that Company may indicate that such addition, variation or amendment is to come into effect
  12. All the calls made to the Company's call centre are recorded by the Company for quality and training purposes
  13. All vehicles registered with the Company are continuously tracked using GPS for security reasons only. It is expressly made clear to you hereby that the Company does not own any taxis nor does it directly or indirectly employ any drivers for the taxis. Taxis and drivers are all supplied by third parties and the Company disclaims any and all liability in respect of the drivers and the taxis alike.
  14. The Company have right to use the customer contact information for its own marketing purposes. The Company may send regular SMS updates to the mobile numbers registered with it.
  15. The courts of Mumbai, India shall have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any matters arising from the use of the Services offered by Company or the agreement or arrangement between Company and the Customer.

The above mentioned terms and conditions of use and/or Agreement and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the User(s) and MARUTHI CABS CABS with respect to access to and use of the web site and the Services offerred by MARUTHI CABS CABS, superseding any prior written or oral agreements in relation to the same subject matter herein.

Q .now I have referred a friend, but still didn’t get the referral credit?

A .You earn your referral credit only when the friend who has signed up using your referral code, completes her/his first city taxi ride. It may not be valid if your friend’s first ride is a rental booking. In that case, you will earn your credit when your friend completes her/his first city taxi ride.

Q . Will my Maruthi Cabs Money be there forever?

A .In principle, Maruthi Cabs Money doesn’t have an expiry date. However, if you have used a recharge code or received Maruthi Cabs Money through a promotional scheme, there could be an expiry to the promotion that would be mentioned. However, we reserve the right to stop the referral scheme at any point, or to block Maruthi Cabs money for an account if some mal activity is observed.
